Instituto de Lenguajes Puerto Escondido (I.L.P.E.) offers private and small group Spanish instruction for all ages, homestays, volunteer opportunities, salsa dance, oaxacan style cooking and surf lessons, surf board rentals, rock climbing and mountain biking excursions as well as tours of local lagoons, water falls and ruins. Study as many hours per week as you would like and start any day you choose.

Located in a picturesque fishing village of 65,000 people on the Pacific Coast of Mexico just a few hours south of Acapulco and north of Huatulco. Instituto de Lenguajes Puerto Escondido is situated just meters above and with a great view of the world famous surfing beach, Playa Zicatela more commonly known as the Mexican Pipeline.
Flights are available daily into Puerto Escondido International Airport as do busses from Mexico City, Acapulco and Oaxaca. Once you arrive in Puerto, public transportation is affordable and readily available through all parts of Puerto Escondido.
One-on-one classes cost $10 U.S. an hour. However, as the class sizes increase the cost per student goes down. If there are two students in a group, the cost is $8 U.S. an hour per student. For a group of three students, it's $7 U.S. an hour each and for 4 or more students, it's $6 U.S. an hour each.
